Key Position Details

Fast paced, high volume New York PIP office is looking to hire a Legal Assistant. Candidate must have a Juris Doctorate degree and have passed the bar exam in New York State, awaiting admission to the New York State Bar and/or Character & Fitness Interview. Job duties include, but are not limited to drafting pleadings, motions, completing discovery, appearing at arbitration hearings and conducting examinations under oath, under the direction of an attorney and any other duties the manager may require.

Candidate must be able to write clearly and persuasively.

Familiarity with New York law a plus as is any experience. Writing sample required.

Qualifications: Filing - Lifting - PC Experience - Phone Experience - Public Contact - Standing - Word Processing

Schedule: Monday through Friday - 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

Salary: $63,089.65 / year
