Job Description

GEICO's Staff Counsel in Melville is seeking a New York admitted attorney to handle an existing caseload of subrogation litigation. The position requires travel to the five boroughs of New York City, as well as Nassau and Suffolk counties. Job duties include, but are not limited to drafting complaints, petitions, motions and extensive discovery practice and may include working closely with and assisting the summary judgment team. The successful applicant will be required to frequently appear in court for conferences, trials and depositions.

Schedule: M-F 8:30- 5PM

Salary: $79209.65 / year
