Big Data Technical Supervisor

Decision Sciences and Transformation (DSaT) department is looking for an individual to lead the Data Ingestion and Consumption team. The team is focused on bringing in new data to our Enterprise Data Platform and making it usable. You will be leading a team that will support all the critical data needs of the organization including requirements for PACE, PURE and other organization wide Analytics and reporting initiatives.
o 3+ years of experience in an IT leadership position, or with experience managing critical and technical projects
o Proven track record of supporting production applications and managing change in a fast-paced environment
o Passion to innovate and provide solutions to challenges that are encountered
o Experience in developing associates through providing coaching, feedback, and mentoring
o Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including communicating technical issues to non-technical audiences
o A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, related field (business, finance, mathematics, computer science) or equivalent professional experience is required
o Good understanding of data ingestion and usage patterns
o Business knowledge in one of these business areas; Policy, Billing, Sales or Claims
o Big Data technologies
