In this role, you will:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of Digital operations to identify key challenges, opportunities, and areas ripe for digital transformation.
  • Leverage data-driven insights and industry best practices to develop and champion innovative digital solutions, including process automation tools, business intelligence dashboards, cloud-based applications, predictive maintenance solutions, and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) platforms.
  • Possesses hands-on experience running IT Infrastructure Operations - including (but not limited to) WAN, LAN, Servers, PCs, Peripherals and IT Security - in a large multinational manufacturing environment.
  • Lead the selection, implementation, and integration of chosen solutions, ensuring seamless adoption and optimal performance within your designated area of responsibility.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for implemented solutions, including user guides, training materials, and operational procedures.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, identifying and recommending improvements for maximized impact.
  • Foster close collaboration with IT, Engineering, and other departments to ensure alignment and successful integration of digital initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the digital landscape, particularly those relevant to the aerospace industry.
  • Proactively share knowledge and expertise through training, mentorship, and knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.

Required Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business operations, preferably within the aerospace industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leveraging digital technologies to solve complex business problems and achieve operational excellence.
  • Proven track record of success in leading and implementing major projects, with a strong focus on delivering tangible results.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools (e.g., data analysis tools - Spotfire, Power BI, cloud platforms).
  • Experience with IIoT platforms and predictive maintenance solutions is a strong plus.
  • Experience with SAP ERP and/or SAP HANA would be an added advantage.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills are essential.
  • Experience/Familiar with Financial process (Capex, Opex, budgeting, cost control, and governance).
  • Experience in identifying and managing internal/external service providers.
