Vice President, IT Sales - Individual Contributor

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES AND SPECIFIC DUTIES

Background

  • Seasoned Sales Manager, Director, Account Manager
  • New-name business development skills (hunter) combined with consultative account development skills
  • Tenured experience in direct sales experience with major IT vendors, with successful record of:
  • Planning and implementing sophisticated and lengthy sales campaigns resulting in multi-million dollar contracts
  • Managing a complex solution sale where capability (over product) is the focus
  • Familiar with contractual and negotiation issues surrounding large enterprise-wide deals (typically $5m +)

Duties
  • Full revenue responsibility for finding, closing and delivering large, complex multi-level specialist consulting service
  • Find quality opportunities for and then sell Consulting Service to major corporations in the territory.
  • Deliver high-value Sales/Consulting Service

Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS
  • Confident, mature, well-presented and comfortable at C-level
  • Excellent communication skills in particular, articulate in writing persuasive proposals, investment summaries and cost justifications
  • Highly developed analytical skills with very close attention to detail
  • Good presentation skills
  • Creative ability to learn and apply new and innovative techniques
  • Ability to work self-sufficiently/remotely and take responsibility for full client relationship development
  • High level of discretion required whilst operating in a very confidential environment

Languages
  • Fluent in English & German
  • Danish, Swedish or Norwegian (preferred but not essential)

  • SAP, Microsoft, Oracle, Peoplesoft, IBM, CA, BMC, BEA, Veritas, Ariba, EMC, Sun, Informix, Sybase, Siebel, Compuware, Candle, Software AG, Serena, Remedy, Manugistics, i2, JD Edwards, SSA, Cerner, McKesson, SMS, Misys, EPIC
  • Ideal candidates have a back ground in high-value, big-ticket s/w solution sales
