Sr. Content Writer/Researcher

About the Job:

The Senior Content Analyst will write compelling content for Gartner’s Digital Markets research group. This research group assists business leaders of small and medium sized companies in finding and selecting the right software.

As part of Gartner's Digital Markets group, our mission is to be the top destination for small businesses making technology purchasing decisions, and to generate the highest quality leads for the software vendors we partner with.

Job Requirements:

What you’ll do:

  • Market research. Research the important issues small businesses face in their selection and adoption of information technology.

  • Stay on top of trends and identify important topics using search engine keyword research.

  • Produce high quality editorial content to engage audiences and drive traffic.

  • Work closely with Gartner Research colleagues to leverage relevant research to illuminate topics for small business software buyers.

  • Collaborate with key industry influencers to produce high quality content.

  • Promote your content in online communities aimed at small businesses.

What you’ll need:

  • A BA in English or BS in Computer Sciences or equivalent fields of study.

  • A minimum of 3+ years of content writing experience

  • Supply Chain content experience

  • A native level of English

  • A passion for technology with a background in tech research or writing

  • To enjoy researching and analyzing markets to identify relevant topics

  • A working knowledge of SEO, WordPress, Google Analytics, and Google Docs.

  • Experience with WordPress and other Content Management Systems (CMS).

  • Analytical in your abilities in researching topics and distilling out the critical issues.

  • Proficient in AP Style.

  • Experienced in a corporate/software environment and/or in a content marketing organization.
