Job Description

•Assist manager with planning and delivery of on-site program 

•Work with manager on cost negotiations, proposals, contracting and terms and conditions for suppliers

•Track, forecast and reconcile personally owned areas of event budgets 

•Source temporary staff for events and manage communication, training and on-site schedule

•Manage the sourcing, cost negotiation and ordering of all fulfilment items

•Manage equipment inventory, storage and shipment of materials to and from events

•Plan and manage all on site event signage

•Assisting in leading key event partners to the delivery aspects of the events

•Co-ordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for attendees and event team

•Co-ordinate external speaker logistics

•Analyst liaison/point person 

•Update intranet resource for associates

•Evaluate the event experience we offer and act on feedback

•Assist manager with strategic planning and process development  #LI-AK1

Job Requirements

•Bachelors degree with focus on events, desirable

3-5 years of event experience 

•Budget management experience

•Project management experience

•Supplier & contract management with negotiation experience

•Client relationship experience

•Financial Management Skills

•Strong client focused / customer service skills

•Competent in Microsoft office, especially Excel

•Strong oral & written communication skills

•Solution oriented

•High sense of urgency
