Product Manager, Digital Engagement

Gartner’s Digital Client Experience team is responsible for maximizing client value resulting from their visits to Gartner’s digital delivery platforms. As part of the Engagement team, the Product Manager is the owner of multiple workstreams focused on gartner.com and its accompanying mobile app, and serving as an important member of a core team collaborating with stakeholders across the company. 

Working in an agile Scrum environment, the Product Manager will be building the future for Gartner’s wide array of products and services. The Product Manager leverages business development experience, operations, technology, user experience knowledge, and marketing experience in order to develop, test, and execute a strategy to deliver the product/service offering. Gartner’s Product Managers have established analytical problem solving, execution and leadership skills. He/she is responsible for directing efforts and influencing decisions to ensure set performance and business goals are met for the product. 

Professional Responsibilities:

Lead digital initiatives as a product owner and apply lean product principles in everything we do. 

  • Manage day to day business operations
  • Analyze and present performance, monitor trends, support problem solving efforts to various levels of management 
  • Work with stakeholders across the product and research teams to align business, content and client needs
  • Build and communicate the product vision and roadmap to user experience design and development teams
    • Manage product backlog for Gartner’s digital product delivery platforms (e.g. gartner.com, mobile app)
    • Prioritize product development of new features and site enhancements
    • Collaborate with the scrum team(s) to ensure prioritized items for each sprint
  • Perform analysis and critical thinking which drives proactive and collaborative business decisions
  • Track and measure value for clients and continually improve key metrics
  • Conduct research to monitor competitors, test product concepts, and measure customer satisfaction


Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have...

  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial product management with problem-solving around client-facing properties and product delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to translate quantitative analysis into actionable business strategies
  • Strong working knowledge of Lean product principles, Software development lifecycle, and modern user experience best practices
  • Extensive experience in gathering from and communicating ideas to, clients and key stakeholders across businesses
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of business, data science and technical stakeholders
  • Outstanding project management skills (projects involving internal and external stakeholders) with ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
  • Ability to work in a culture that thrives on feedback and seeks opportunities to stretch outside comfort zone
  • Bias for action and completion
