About this role: This newly created role will help build and expand a Center of Excellence in India to support Sales in significantly increasing new business. The goal of this newly-formed team is to provide support to individual Account Executives and Business Developers on various prospecting activities, meeting preparation and demonstrating Gartner value to prospects. What you ll do: This leader, and over time his or her team, will help develop innovative new ways to:

  • Schedule meetings for Sales with prioritized prospects, by leveraging an improving prioritization engine and identifying and using referrals, as well as building and iterating on multi-touch outreach campaigns and executing them on behalf of Sales
  • Prepare individual sales reps for meetings with prospects by delivering hypothesis for the prospect s mission-critical priorities and creating other client-facing collateral
  • Ensure the consistent execution of the best practices that demonstrate Gartner s value to prospects
The objectives & responsibilities of this leader would include:
  • Substantially improve the new business performance of the supported sales teams
  • Iterate and improve on current approaches, processes and tools
  • Hire, train, and advise team members to excel in their roles
  • Drive timely and quality execution of sales support activities
  • Conduct analysis to understand what is working and report to senior management
**What you ll need:
  • MBA / Master s degree from top-tier (Tier 1) university preferred
  • Bachelor s degree from top-tier University in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Business
  • Overall 10+ years of experience
  • Experience in management consulting preferred
  • Experience working in US / UK preferred
  • 3-4 years managing teams
  • Data analytics experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office expertise
  • Knowledge in sales strategy / operations preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of SQL or basic programming skills a plus
