Product Director, (Digital Client Experience) role :
The Product Director role is in our US headquarters in Stamford Connecticut. The Product Director will be responsible for maximizing value for our clients resulting from the innovations to content recommendations made on various Gartner platforms like gartner.com and mobile app. The objective of this role is to boost value to our clients thereby improving client retention. As a product owner for a SCRUM team, this role is a perfect balance between business and technical skills.

Lead the recommendations center of excellence as a product owner and apply lean product principles in everything we do
•Build and communicate the product vision and roadmap to various stakeholders and the SCRUM team;
•Manage product backlog for content recommendations on all Gartner platforms (e.g. gartner.com, mobile app)
•Conduct client interviews (early and frequently) to capture behavioral insights to boost client value
•Ensure prioritization of roadmap items e.g. ROI, client importance/satisfaction
•Collaborate with the SCRUM team(s) to ensure prioritized items for each sprint; Followed by A/B testing, and rapid iteration
•Establish a baseline and track/measure value for clients through recommendations (build on IVR- internal Gartner metric)
•Perform analysis and critical thinking which drives proactive and collaborative business decisions
•Collaborate and drive consistency with Search COE and manage relevant stakeholders
•Communicate to stakeholders and senior leadership on impact driven through recommendations on a regular basis

This role will be reporting into Deepika Venkat – a coach who loves to work on business and data problems having a background in Computer Science and Business!
The ideal candidate will have
•3-5 years of experience in commercial product management and solving complex data problems
•Demonstrated ability to translate quantitative analysis into actionable business strategies
•Strong working knowledge of Lean product principles, Software development lifecycle, IT and data science/machine learning topics
•Extensive experience in gathering from and communicating ideas to, clients and key stakeholders across businesses
•Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of business, data science and technical stakeholders
•Outstanding project management skills (projects involving internal and external stakeholders) with ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
•Ability to work in a culture that thrives on feedback and seeks opportunities to stretch outside comfort zone
•Bias for action and completion
