Product Director

Role Purpose
Identifies prioritized accounts, provides analysis, tools, and customer insight to Sales, develops sales enablement tools, assists Sales in winning business and maximizing retention of high risk and high growth opportunity accounts through tools and analytics.

Major Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

• Lead global initiatives to address a common, challenging retention situation such as client budget cuts, Low perceived value, Decision maker in Transition, M&A, or changes in research coverage
o Develop ways to surface the risk early enough to address it
o Pilot and roll out approaches to handle the risk for all transaction sizes
o Ensure high quality execution of best practice
o Identify and act on opportunities for continuous improvement

o Grow team to handle the retention risk for all size transactions in all geographies
• Support the largest and highest risk renewals
o Work with sales leaders to identify the accounts that will get the most benefit from support
o Provide complementary skills to the sales and service delivery team to address renewal risk, build a strong business case for renewal, and capture growth opportunities
o Surface lessons from renewals to identify new opportunities for client retention improvement
o Expand team and build capability in new hires
• Identify new opportunities to improve client retention and contract value growth. Lead teams to capture the opportunity
• Maximize retention and growth by managing and improving internal products and tools, including the Impact Assessment, Proposal Generator, Retention Playbook(s) and Account Planning Kit; maintain long term vision document for with current stakeholder feedback, roadmap, and potential improvements
• Perform high-quality quant- and qualitative analytics for long range planning and other major initiatives



Qualifications:

Education
Bachelors of Finance, Accounting or Economics, or other quantitative field, MBA a plus

Professional Experience

• 7-10 years business experience including 2+ years of management consulting experience
• Strategic leadership skills; ability to craft and articulate a clear, consistent vision and implement effective operating plans
• Strong working knowledge of Tech Industry
• Demonstrated ability to deliver presentations
• Strong sense of natural curiosity, quick analytical skills, instinctive math skills
• Understanding of finance, financial modeling and accounting
• Demonstrated ability to translate quantitative analysis into actionable business strategies
• Extensive experience in presenting and communicating ideas to key stakeholders across businesses

Technical/ Professional Skills & Competencies

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent organizational, interpersonal, and team skills
• Very strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
