Lead, execute, and deliver event logistics from initial stages of development, through on-site & conference wrap-up. Evaluate all assigned events for global consistency. Own and execute flawlessly on multiple, simultaneous projects.
- Leadership of the logistics team to ensure flawless execution of assigned regional events portfolio
- Communication and collaboration with internal Business Unit stake holders to ensure we understand their MCPs in order to deliver top quality events
- Overall responsibility for budgets including preparation, negotiations, accurate and timely forecasts for events
- Alert management about risks and deviations to plan, and make recommendations for corrective action
- Implement and maintain a globally consistent standard for event logistics
- Constantly evaluate the experience, feedback and results and implement changes accordingly
- Review RFPs: detailed specs, identifying prospective vendors & determining selection process, criteria
- Proactively identify operational problems and potential process improvements, in relation to event logistics
- Responsible for training new associates, and influencing existing team members
- Contributes to actionable ideas in team meetings

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of event operation experience
- Proven financial and budget management skills
- Project management experience
- Team leadership experience
- Contract negotiation and vendor management/review
- Strong client focused/customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong oral & written communication skills
