The ESCP manages up to24 senior executive member relationships, and participates in account planningwith Senior LCMs and Senior Account Executives. These three individualscollectively and individually have responsibility for each assigned account.

The ESCP participates inall phases of the member lifecycle: pre-sale, on-boarding, relationshipmanagement, delivery, review and renewal.

The ESCP also provides(2) onsite workshops per client member per year; which includes aDiscoveryDay . ESCP leads CSCO activities at the annual Gartner Supply ChainExecutive Conference and leads CSCO breakout sessions during (2) annual SupplyChain Forums and yearly Supply Chain Summit.

Success is defined by:executing a smooth hand-off from the sales team, regularly engaging themember in a substantive manner, creating a complete member profile, accuratelyidentifying the member s agenda, developing an engagement (value) plan,participating (with Sales and LCMs) in quarterly account reviews and preparingvalue-added on-site engagements and member meetings.

Sales and MarketingSupport

The ESCP is responsiblefor member retention and for contributing toward growth in the region throughdirect support of Gartner Sales in prospect cultivation, account plandevelopment and value demonstration activities.

Onsite Interactions

The ESCP is responsiblefor hosting and /or participating in periodic onsite member activities,including workshops, research analyst visits (where appropriate), roundtablesand webinars (in collaboration with Gartner Research)

Research Support

The ESCP supportsresearch activities, such as facilitating member participation in researchstudies or case panels. The ESCP will be aligned with and leverageGartner research positions and initiatives as well as provide feedback from themember base to the research organization. The ESCP works with researchanalysts to develop and deliver CSCO relevant research.

Program Delivery

Define and deliver innovative solutions byassessing member needs and developing a customized value plan in accordancewith overall Gartner Supply Chain strategy and Gartner Supply Chain productdeliverables.

Work with members in CPG, Retail, High Tech,Department of Defense, A&D, Industrial, Life Sciences, Pharma andHealthcare Providers to further their levels of supply chain maturity throughdelivery of research, peer networking, and coaching.

Critique client strategies, guide clients inbuilding their organizations, and assist in developing supply chain strategies,establishing priorities, and planning for implementation around key supplychain initiatives.

Establish and maintain working relationshipswith various internal groups to create a comprehensive, well designedsustainable set of key deliverables for clients (including targeted research,personal coaching sessions, scripted analyst sessions, involvement withappropriate events, etc.)

Direct and facilitate member peer group callsand/or meetings

Content Development andManagement

Participate in presentations, panels andworkshops

Participate in relevant research communities tokeep topic area knowledge current and share member experiences with analysts

Facilitate member interaction and collaborationthrough the Supply Chainmember community portal and assisted memberconnections

Lead and participate inlocal events, roundtables and Gartner Exec Series WebEx s

Subject Matter Expertise- Consumer Goods and/or High Tech Industry

This role can be located anywhere in North America - Work at Home

The ESCP must be asenior business executive and have demonstrated topic knowledge in developingand delivering overall Supply Chain strategy, execution and performanceimprovement. The ESCP will be an accomplished current or former SVP, EVPof Supply Chain or CSCO who has managed a significant P&L; Direct Reportsand significant total number of Associates. Candidate must have a broadbase of expertise that has operated at a senior leadership level and drivenchange at all levels.

The ESCP is responsibleto retain clients in accordance with established Gartner RetentionMetrics. In addition, to work closely with Sales to vet and closenew CSCO business.

Other requirements

A university graduate(Masters preferred) with 10+ yearsexperience working in a senior managementrole; such as a CSCO, SVP, EVP, or COO in a Supply Chain Executive levelcapacity; or 5+ years in the capacity with 5+ years in another

Supply Chain Executiverole, such asPartner in Supply Chain Consulting .

Candidates must haveexcellent interpersonal skills; no whiff of arrogance about them and theability and experience working with C level executives.

This individual shouldhave strong reflective listening skills and the ability to adjust to clientcues and needs

An in-depthunderstanding of Supply Chain industry and the role of the CSCO (includingleadership, operations management, strategy and trends, use of metrics, etc.)

In depth understandingof the business value of Supply Chain and the alignment of Business and SupplyChain strategies.

Critical thinking andproblem solving skills to assess member situations and provide actionable,outcome-based business advice, and the ability to leverage appropriate (Gartnerand other) resources to help clients achieve business results

Ability to lead andmanage ambiguous situations

Superior verbal andwritten communication skills and strong facilitation and presentation skills

Energetic, Sales savvy

Collaboration and teamleadership

Sales and / or businessdevelopment experience or ability with CXO level executives

Strong time/projectmanagement skills

Travel restricted to US,Canada and Mexico; 60 - 70% travel
