Event Planner


Plan, organize, and execute event logistics with guidance from Event Manager from initial stages of development, through on-site & conference wrap-up. Evaluate all assigned events for global consistency.

  • Oversee all pieces of the event planning process, including budget, by leveraging Event Ops best practices
  • Plan, manage and execute various elements of the event on-site
  • Produce and manage hotel specifications, menus, and on-site logistics
  • Produce and manage audio/visual specifications
  • Oversee travel and hotel arrangements for attendees and staff for events
  • Ensure accuracy of all collateral
  • Negotiate prices and contracts with outside vendors
  • Create RFPs: detailed specs, identifying prospective vendors & determining selection process, criteria
  • Answer questions from internal and external clients about events
  • Oversee temporary registration help for all events
  • Manage site selections and coordinate hotel contracts for future events
  • Create, prepare and manage event expense budgets in the range of 5-8 million and reconciling with corporate general ledger




Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 3 years of event planning experience is required, including proven budget management abilities
  • Project management experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Time management skills
