Event Planner

Key responsibilities:

  • Support manager to produce hotel specifications, menus and on-site logistics including rooms, food and meeting facilities
  • Assist manager with planning and delivery of on-site program
  • Work with manager to track, forecast and reconcile event budgets
  • Evaluate the event experience we offer and act on feedback
  • Shipping to and from event
  • Travel and hotel arrangements for analysts, external speakers and event team
  • Recruit Temporary help for events
  • Event signage
  • Intranet updates
  • Analyst liaison/point person

Qualifications:

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree with focus on events and/or marketing preferred

Professional experience:

  • 1- 2 years of business meeting planning experience
  • Budget management abilities
  • Project management experience
