Client Relationship Associate

The Client Relationship Associate is responsible for helping Gartner IT clients realize value from the research provided by Gartner IT Technical Professionals research services, by proactively engaging with clients and building relationships.

  • Primary responsibility to drive value orientated engagement with non-engaged clients, prioritising those coming up for renewal in next 6months to support product retention.
  • Secondary responsibility to be the first point of contact for existing clients who have invested in Gartner for Technical Professionals and deliver value through lifecycle of the contract to support client retention
  • Actively engage with your assigned accounts on a daily basis – primarily through client value phone interaction and email to ensure all clients are actively engaged in the deliverables of their service.
  • Ability to uncover client primary IT initiatives and map to key GTP deliverables
  • Collaborate effectively with internal business units including Sales, New Client Engagement Team, Client Partners and Research Engagement Services (RES).


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience within a professional business setting AND/OR recent graduates with 1-2 years business related internships
  • B2B experience preferred.
  • Experience with communicating with clients over the phone
  • Passion for customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Organize and communicate information clearly)
  • Strong computer efficiency (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Problem resolution experience ~ people and process
  • Interest or experience in IT related industry
  • Strong prioritisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently to meet individual performance goals
  • Proven ability to build relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure
