Business Development Manager Become A Client Division (BAC)

Focused on inbound calls and leads from the Become a Client Program.  Role is to convert sales leads into Gartner clients.  Leverage Valueselling techniques to negotiate and close contracts.

After a new client is acquired, the Business Development Manager BAC transitions them to an Account Manager who is responsible for retaining and growing the client. Success in this role relies on being resilient and having the ability to quickly develop strategic relationships with C-level executives in order to match their needs to Gartner services. These relationships are critical to accurately forecasting monthly business and consistently overachieving quotas.

Job Requirements:

  • Leverage key best practices to drive and successfully sell new business opportunities to prospects that leverage the Become a Client lead generation link on Gartner at Work for both Large Enterprise and Mid Size Enterprise accounts.
  • Primary focus net new logos / net new client accounts.
  • Identify key decision makers and develop strategic relationships to drive revenue.
  • Achieve and exceed quota.
  • Compliance in utilizing internal sales enablement tools and management processes.
  • Follow determined Business Development best practices developed through collaboration with peers or delivered by Sales Learning and Development team.
