Business Development Manager


As a Business Development Manager (BDM), this role is dedicated exclusively to the sales outcomes and the development of personal sales proficiency at Evanta. The BDM is responsible for sourcing possible sponsors, building rapport with the sponsors and closing new business sales opportunities with the sponsors

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

Consistently meet and exceed personal sales targets

Prospect and identify new corporate sponsors to support the events through strategic sponsorship sales

Cold call as appropriate within your brand to ensure you are building a robust sales pipeline and driving those leads to closure

Follow up on new business opportunities and setting up sales calls

Close business deals by coordinating requirements and developing and negotiating contracts

Maintain relationships with current clients

Handle objections from sponsors by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion

Use excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with sponsors and sponsor prospects to clearly articulate the opportunities available to meet sponsorship goals and objectives



Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree is preferred

Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience; preferably B2B sales
