About this role:

The role of Sales Representative Germany will be responsible for identification of new products and clients, closing deals, direct client contract value and retention as well as revenue growth through contract expansion.

What you will do:


  • Prospect German (and/or other EMEA) software vendors and related industry institutions and consult with them to develop relationships and continuously grow your pipeline
  • Hunt your prospected clients and close deals. Field sales might be necessary sometimes
  • Onboard new clients. Get new clients started out on the right foot to ensure future campaign success
  • Manage current accounts with the outcome of increased customer satisfaction, retention and account growth
  • Grow the overall account value. You will identify large growth opportunities (up-selling, cross-selling) across your account portfolio
  • Provide expert knowledge to B2B software vendors. The more you understand their business, the more you'll be equipped to challenge and teach them and optimize their return on investment
  • Call and email software vendors. Proactive follow up with our clients - even the quietest clients need a check-in from time to time to make sure things are running smoothly

Qualifications:



What you will need:

  • Native Level in German is a must + fluent in English

  • Strong experience in sales on the German market is a must + other EMEA region

  • 3-5 years of proven consultative sales experience in technology (services or software)

  • Ability to be professionally persistent while prospecting and managing C-level and senior-level relationships within large global companies

  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, offering value added, insightful and strategic vision

  • Extraordinary persistence. You don't know the meaning of the word ‘quit’

  • Unshakeable optimism, energy and drive. Your energy and optimism shines around you and your vibrant personality makes it easy for people to build a relationship with you. You flourish in a fast-paced environment. No one needs to push you to excel; it’s just who you are

  • Excellent verbal & written communication. Influencing skills and knack for phone/personal communication

  • General understanding of online marketing/lead generation campaigns. You understand the general needs of online advertisers and publishers and you are able to manage hundreds of campaigns successfully

  • Extreme efficiency & organization. You have a strong attention to detail, great sense of prioritization, data is your soul food, and you can understand numbers quickly and handle dozens of conversations with clients each day

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to close
