Sr. Graphic Designer

INTERMIX is seeking an innovative, forward-thinking SeniorDesigner with sophisticated, highly refined visual style to join its dynamicand collaborative creative team. The Senior Designer will lead productiondesign, UX, and a talented team of Junior Designers.


  • Drive the seasonal look and feel of the INTERMIXdigital presence, including website, emails, and external advertising.Translate business and marketing objectives into designs that are clear and compelling,and advance the overall brand aesthetic
  • Lead design efforts on all printed material, includingseasonal Look Books, mailers, and in-store collateral
  • Oversee design and execution of in-store signage
  • Produce design templates, storyboards, motion-based prototype
  • Partner closely with Creative Production, Editorial, andStyling teams to bring content to life across multiple channels via colorpalette and art direction
  • Partner closely with Site Merchandising and UX teams tocreate actionable, compelling, results-driven experiences across INTERMIXwebsite
  • Manage design team—including three junior staffers andpotential freelancers—including daily workload and individual development. Setclear roles, responsibilities and expectations of all projects to ensure thatthe design output is brand appropriate, and all marketing requirements arecompleted on time, and with the highest standard possible, for both internaland external reviews




  • Strong knowledge of design fundamentals, layout, typography,information hierarchy, and web specifications. Expert in ideas generationand collaboration with copy and photography creative partners
  • Extremely detail-oriented, organized and able to thrive in afast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Expert knowledge of InDesign and Adobe CS3/4/5, Mac OS Xexpert
  • 6+ years professional experience in graphic design
  • 3+ years management experience
  • BFA in Graphic Design or related area
