Sr. Analyst, Optimization & Projects

OVERVIEW

The Sr. Analyst, Optimization & Project is responsible for supporting the team on different projects and optimization initiatives, which include data analysis, scenario simulation, process review, report design & management, presentation deck preparation.

This position strongly supports the operational deliverables and project initiatives of the Asia Domestic Transportation function through analytics and planning, collaborating closely with different business partners across the supply chain。

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

Business analysis (30%)

o Gather information/data on processes from both internal and external stakeholders

o Develop Excel/Access based models for projects

o Develop in-depth knowledge of the 'as is' situation so that the current process can be adequately "flow-charted" and "baselined", while scenarios can be modelled for simulation or optimization

o Work independently and effectively communicate with stakeholders at different levels to draw out information, and assist the Manager to lead discussions or presentations.

Process review & mapping (15%)

o Review process with identifying key control point, eliminating wastage or inefficient work

o Propose new process flows which can have mutual benefits and can be practically implemented

o Communicate to related parties to smooth implementation on new processes with minimum impact on operations

Project management (15%)

o Assist on various project work streams, like time and action plan, documentation and coordination

o Active communication and follow up to ensure relevant projects are progressing on track

o Take initiative to lead and deliver projects independently

Report management & improvement (15%)

o Regular report maintenance, deliver reliable data & information on time

o Structure solutions to maintain data and develop dashboards for visibility

o Actively engaged in design or reporting tool improvements to optimize workload and to provide visibility

Presentation material & deck preparation (15%)

o Assist on presentation decks preparation, including information collection from different channels, data consolidation, creating PPT deck, and all related content preparation

o Independently fulfill presentation with clear point-of-view and able to influence the audience

Others ad-hoc tasks (10%)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• University degree in related field, i.e., Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Management, Finance, Engineering or Information Systems

• 3-5 years of experience with Logistics, good knowledge with Transportation (domestic and international), basic knowledge with warehousing, understanding of other function of supply chain (like planning, sourcing) can be a plus

• Strong written and spoken communication skills: fluent in English and Mandarin

• Experience in developing and analyzing transportation models

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint a must

• Excellence in creating impactful presentations and the ability to clearly communicate complex information

• Able to drive initiatives in a matrixed working environment

• Learning agility; drive for results; time/priorities management
