Software Engineer III

Job Title:Software Engineer III

Job Description:Design and implement major and minor enhancements. Work with others in technical development of major and minor enhancements. Partner with Product Managers, IT Analysts and others to provide technical expertise on Supply Chain systems. Review new demand requests from business partners and advise on solutions. Work with technical and business team to architect, develop and maintain business solutions following Agile development principles and practices. Utilize test driven development practices. Code automated test cases and product code. Participate in pairing and code review. Support and troubleshoots problems with existing applications. Mentor and guides others who are still developing their skills.

Education: Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field followed by 5 years post baccalaureate progressive experience in the job offered, software development or related occupations.

Experience and/or education must include:

  • 2 years of experience with Agile Development
  • 2 years of experience with Test Driven Development
  • 5 years of experience with Java and .NET programming
  • 3 years of experience with Rest Web Service Development
  • 3 years of experience with Windows Server and Linux
