OVERVIEW

The Senior Tech Recruiter is responsible for managing specialized full life cycle recruiting process. This position is a part of team that manages Talent Acquisition for all of Gap Inc.'s technology division. While the expectation is that the primary role of a technical Recruiter is to fill jobs, they will also engage with business partners to identify, develop, and employ strategies that build teams and organizations. A champion of both the business and talent, our Recruiters, own the end to end candidate experience. As a Senior Recruiter you are responsible for sourcing, assessing, selecting top candidates and partnering with the business to hire the technologist and leaders who drive innovation and support the Gap Inc. business globally. You will find talent that no one else can and you are able to do this through the relationships you build and creative and innovative sourcing techniques.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manages complex searches and functional expertise
  • Ownership of a function/region
  • Delivers a diverse candidate slate to each hiring manager according to his/her needs, as well as the needs of the organization as a whole
  • Manages partnerships and build relationships both internally and externally
  • Consults with business on specialized industry trends
  • Develops and mentors junior talent scouts and/or recruiters
  • Leads the business in providing a hire-right experience
  • Ability to strategize with business leaders on workforce planning and forecasting
  • Ability to flex and work in multiple functions across the enterprise
  • Demonstrates confidence, business acumen in all settings while advising business partners
  • Identifies, develops and employs effective sourcing strategies for current and future talent needs by employing creative sourcing methods to discover and engage talent
  • Manages key recruiting tools and leveraging social media platforms in partnership with talent scout(s)
  • Manages partnerships and build relationships both internally and externally
  • Partners with HR and finance for headcount and finance planning
  • Drives the development of recruiting education curriculum to support business with recruiting capability as it relates to talent pipeline
  • Ability to flex and work within multiple functions/channels offering recruiting expertise as needed

KEY EXPERIENCES
  • Knowledge of resolution of complex problems in technical/operational fields where external assistance may not be immediately available
  • Bachelor's degree preferred and/or 5+ years of technology search/recruiting experience
  • Demonstrates relationship management experience
  • Experience leading programs and project related initiatives
  • Knowledge of EEO, ADA, and employment laws
  • Experience with migration to a Dev/Ops model a plus
  • Understanding of retail technology, a plus
