About the role

The role of the Global OMNI Inventory Management team is to maximize sales, margin and inventory through strategic end-to-end optimization across all customer channels. This work requires strong analytical and story-telling skills, the ability to build close partnerships with other functions, and a focus on executing best in class customer experience while delivering/exceeding financial targets. The Global OMNI Inventory Management Senior Planner will own the Women's Pants and Outerwear departments' pre-season planning and in-season yield management through hindsight, buy-planning, financial target setting, monthly forecasting, commercial plan alignment, pricing, and basics management while creating strategic alignment across cross functional teams, markets, and channels.

What you'll do
  • Manage sales, gross margin, gross margin return on investment (GMROI) and inventory turn goals by evaluating in-season trends combined with existing pre-season strategies to deliver compelling pricing and short term inventory controls.
  • Maximize profitability through strategic pricing decisions with a focus on the omni customer experience and Ensure pricing strategy supports and drives commercial strategy
  • Owns monthly forecast for the division, incorporating current trends to maximize opportunities and mitigate risks to achieve pre-season plans
  • Partner with Store Planning, Visual and Marketing teams to develop in season allocation strategies to deliver the optimal inventory to stores
  • Create comprehensive hindsight and tops down plans while partnering with Merchandising team to develop future product and inventory strategies for all global regions
  • Create bottoms up plans based on Merchandising line plan and reconcile with tops down financial targets, assessing risk and opportunity
  • Cultivate strong working relationships across multiple cross-functional partners to ensure business success
  • This role is a leader on the Inventory Management team and will help shape new processes and lead implementation of new practices and tool sets.
  • Coach and develop an analyst and serve as a mentor to planners on the team.
Who you are
  • Minimum 2-4 years Inventory Management experience
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent required
  • Direct report experience or prior development experience preferred
