Senior Director Franchise Brand Operations

The Senior Director of Brand Operations Franchise is a critical role leading the integration of our brands, Franchise Channel operations, the end-to-end supply chain and responsive capabilities. The role requires integrated relationships with the core brand leaders, Franchise Channel leaders, Franchise Partners and SC leaders. The leader will play a pivotal role in building the brand operations team and ensuring that the team drive the business outcomes the brands need.

This leader is accountable for building and maintaining best in class capabilities for DC capacity, Demand Driven buying, receipt management and in shop success (on time to commercial plan) for all demand planning, ensuring end-to-end process and tools support best in class execution of these core operating model capabilities. This role also owns building end to end processes with brand through to partners to ensure contract obligations are met through delivery. As capabilities mature and are introduced, this leader will ensure the team is accountable for driving adoption and institutionalizing capabilities into the operating model.

The Brand Operations team will also support chase and response needed to support the need to move orders, receipts and flows to respond to the customer. This role will work across the core supply chain functions and leaders in logistics and sourcing as well as our brand functions of Design, Merchandising, Production, and Inventory management to bring thought leadership for future operations and to build and deploy key capabilities for our responsive operating model. And, lead the critical work to optimize speed and minimize cost to execute customer needs and optimize right inventory in the right place.

This role is highly collaborative working across our brand organizations, supply chain and operations and human resources functions.

Responsibilities Include:

Execute brand and customer needs as a seamless activity end to end in the supply chain working across sourcing and fulfillment teams.

Develop strong leaders and best in class talent with operations expertise and understanding of brand core functions.

Institutionalize, drive adoption and ensure ROI on initiatives.

Develop strong relationships across brand functional leaders, franchise partners and SC leaders to help support their execution and leadership.

Lead the implementation of the capabilities across functions –ensuring adoption of the right people/org, process and tools in collaboration with function leaders.

Partner with cross-functional product teams to identify improvement opportunities, streamlining of processes and effective operating meetings.

Supports market entry and economic modeling for supply chain channel decisions.

Responsible for development and communication of season wholesale turnover (WTO) strategy to internal stakeholders and external franchise partners

Manage supply chain process maps including end-to-end lead-time, CPU, receiving and data integration processes

Responsible for inbound and outbound unit forecast, allocation for regional distribution centers & franchise partners and coordination with transportation operations team.

Advance inventory and DC management practices to reduce variances to partner shipments

On-boards new franchisees for allocation and collection schedule planning

This role manages teams in multiple locations and works globally. Total team size ~20.

Required Qualifications:

Experience in product to market processes for apparel retail specifically merchandising, inventory management or other relevant experience.

Consulting and strategy experience leading process and capability development.

Experience facilitating and engaging with cross functional teams

Advanced degree in operations, manufacturing experience or equivalent supply chain operations.

Experience with change management and leading transition and implementation work

Proficient at senior management communication.

Strong leadership, coaching and development skills.

Ability to manage senior leaders and build teams

Ability to influence and deliver results.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Solid interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, to prioritize, and adapt to a changing environment.

Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities

Must be self-motivated, organized, self-confident and self-directing with a proven ability to identify priorities and mobilize initiatives in an orderly fashion to achieve desired results with minimal supervision

Exceptional business acumen and curiosity.

Minimum Experience:

10 plus years of experience management consulting, retail/consumer products, or operations

Advanced degree in operations, engineering, business or equivalent.

Proven and motivational leader with excellent managerial skills

Project management experience on multi stream programs

Ability to influence in a matrix organization

Strong business partnership skills
