Project Manager, Daily Operations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Driving Develops efficiency initiatives in alignment with Operations strategy to help stores operate. Create, implement, monitor and adjust all store best / common practices for both selling and non-selling tasks. Develops and owns all Daily Operating Policies and Procedures in collaboration with business partners. Guides the implementation of strategic initiatives to the stores, considering workload, the customer and employee experience Provides tools and information to drive compliance and leadership with Upper Field management and store teams which assist in operating an efficient business and protects the company against legal action Manages several external vendors to ensure proper execution on critical projects which protect the company and drive cost savings to the Brand Planning Identifies and executes initiatives that drive simplification, profitability and productivity to Greater China stores Influences strategies that impact stores Develops and implements cost savings strategies that impact the bottom line of Greater China focusing on Store Operating Expenses Develops operational content as a Subject Matter Expert with the Learning and Development team to train store and Upper Field management Expense Control Monitors all store expenses for Greater China, and instructs and assists store management in expense planning and control. Manages payroll and OSE budgets to plan. Miscellaneous Completes special projects as assigned by Manager, Store Operations. Advances job knowledge and management skills by reading and attending training and development programs. - Required knowledge, skills & abilities: Demonstrated proficiency in Store Operations at Gap Inc or similar retailer. Ability to lead and develop others. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
- Minimum educational level: College degree.
- Experience required: including a preferred minimum of 5 years in retail operations position.
- Physical Requirements: Communicate with PMs, customers and store personnel; maneuver around sales floor, stockroom and HQ office; travel throughout Greater China; lift and carry 30 lbs.
