Merchandise Planner

GENERAL SUMMARY: Help maintain the product line list and create code in ACT, support the PK training, both AD and KB. Deliver the routine reports, support on historical data analysis. Support on the merchandising planning, tracking the new product online status, support on the promotion event. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Operations/Financial : Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by department and class. Closely track the online status of each new flow and continues to insure on-time receipts and uploading. Reconcile top-down to bottom-up class plans. Recap and analyze actual sales results to plan, and forecast in-season sales and inventories on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis. Develop the product line of ecommerce exclusives to meet online customers' need and preferences. Participate in company and brand initiatives as appropriate. People Leadership/Relationships : Support a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented environment with peers and cross-functional team. Provide timely feedback and direction to direct supervisor to foster rapid skill development and performance improvement.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Flexible and adaptive to changing priorities
  • Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate strong listening, written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrate logical analytical and problem solving skills
  • Basic technical PC skills, including the ability or aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Language: Fluency in English

Minimum educational level:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required

Previous experience desired:

  • 3-4 years experience as a Planning Analyst or equivalent
  • Fluent English is essential
  • Computer literacy skills (excel, word, outlook, etc)
  • This position is based in the Shanghai office
