GENERAL SUMMARY: As a Loss Prevention Associate in store you will be at the front line in delivering a safe secure environment for customers and employees. You will protect the assets of the company including stock, cash, people, information, premises and brand by addressing in stores(s) all aspects of risk and loss, including, though not exclusive to, public and internal dishonesty, procedural failure and administrative error and wastage. You will partner with the District Loss Prevention Manager and Store Manager to understand business goals and deliver loss prevention plan in line with these goals and ensure that in-store Loss Prevention experience is professional, consistent and relevant for the customer and employee. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Drives Business Results Coordinates and conducts store Loss Prevention activities in a structured format ensuring consistent application of company policy and procedures and identifies any area of potential internal loss. Reports findings to DLPM and store manager (s) as appropriate. Uses initiative to drive store results. In co-operation with Store Manager (s) implements district Loss prevention strategy. Leads LP communications with Store Manager(s) and team maintaining regular contact Ambassador for the Store and Brand Delivers great customer service and strives to exceed customer's expectations through Do What You Love behaviours. Prevents and detects external theft on the shop floor whilst adhering to company policy, standards and legal requirements at all times. E.g. 4 steps of proof, Pace Act etc. Maintains confidentiality of all Loss Prevention issues within Gap, and externally ALL Gap information Inspires Team Provides professional advice and guidance to Management teams and personnel within your store and supports their efforts to reduce loss and protect profits. Develops Loss Prevention awareness in store, by attending store and management meetings and conducting awareness/training sessions in store(s). Works as a team player and enjoys helping team mates. Develops and maintains an internal and external network including other LP teams, centre/town centre security and police forces seeking out loss prevention best practice and keeping up to date with local trends Takes full responsibility for personal development and uses initiative to drive personal goals. Seeks regular feedback from managers, peers and colleagues and uses this feedback to improve skills and behaviours. Ensures Compliance Completes daily/weekly/monthly audits of adherence to policy and procedures Initiates investigations into internal and external theft/fraud, non-compliance issues, and other areas of potential loss by gathering data and other evidence, reporting findings to DLPM and Store Manager as appropriate. Ensures Loss Prevention equipment is in working order, managed to company standards, and reports deficiencies. Delivers great store standards through quick and effective shipment processing, replenishment and markdowns. Hold self-accountable to all Gap Inc. Standards of performance.

- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business may require weekends and evening shifts. Overnights may be required
