Interim European Real Estate & Store Development/Design Coordinator (Part Time Fixed Term Contract - until 31st Jan 18)

Supporting the European Real Estate team, this role will dual reportinto the Director Real Estate Manager UK and Director Store Development. Key tothe role is to create & maintain systems whilst focusing on efficientprocesses in all areas including some administrative support to the RE/SDdepartment as well as project research support as required.

  • Support the execution of brand RE plans byassisting in deal preparation and approvals across the teams
  • Assist managing lease action and capitalproject pipeline
  • Assist in market planning preparation forannual strategy meetings including market tours
  • Coordination of all Real Estate reporting –both creating and maintaining
  • Manage some office administrationresponsibilities including team meetings and travel
  • Assist Real Estate team in all deal relatedwork
  • Responsible for completion of accurate dealpackages by pre-set deadlines
  • Responsible for collecting deal information such as site plans; lease outlinedrawings etc from landlords
  • Responsible for follow-up with internal andexternal business partners to ensure deadlines are met
  • Responsible for supporting the coordinationof deal documentation as directed
  • Responsible for accuracy and completeness ofReal Estate & Store Development paperwork including Real Estate System(REDEX) inputs
  • Conduct and present research information intomarket, centres, landlords and retailers
  • Responsible for projects as assignedincluding but not limited to developing spreadsheets with developer, divisionand regional information and compiling market tour books
  • Act as key link to counterparts in the USReal Estate and Finance teams
  • Support the execution of StoreDevelopment/Store Design processes
  • Responsible for organization of SD team'swork using Real Estate Pipeline System (REPS) or other systems
  • Responsible for providing archive/projectdrawings to global business partners
  • Responsible for managing Purchase orders andassociated work in both RE and SD areas

Gap Flagship


  • Applied experience of using Microsoftpackages especially Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint together with examples of programmes such asGoogle Earth Pro & Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or other mapping software
  • Proven experience of working within a busyoffice environment
  • Detail orientated and able to manage multipleprojects concurrently
  • Positive attitude, sense of urgency andself-starter
  • Detail orientated and able to manage andprioritise multiple demands
  • Excellent organizational and written/verbalcommunication skills
  • Language skills, ideally French would be anadvantage
  • Expressed passion for Real Estate and Gap
  • Flexibility- some travel and internationalcalls are required
