HR Manager, Greater China Head Office

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES : HR Expert in Operation Maintain and secure an efficient and accurate personnel administration such as monthly organization chart, database and HR reporting of HO staffs to ensure timely and accurate information is accessible and to identify potential improvements of any HR related activity. Work with C&B team to effectively manage the on-boarding and exit process and to work with L&D team to make sure that the on-boarding orientation is arranged to all new hires. Take initiatives to design or come up with proposals and programs to maintain employee engagement and improve team morale. (Employee engagement follow-up activities can be organized if required.) Build and maintain positive working relationships with all HR functions and participate in HR related projects or initiatives under Greater China HR strategy. Ensure the HO HR services delivered to partners is to achieve the highest level of professional standards. Support Line Manager in Managing the HR areas effectively in Head Office: Recruitment & selection : Involve in the function hiring needs and job briefing discussion, and follow up with the staffing team and the functions to make sure that the recruitment process and procedures are implemented accordingly and we timely provide external qualified candidates to the needs. Learning & development : Partner with all functions to analyze employees training needs, and then leverage resources in L&D team to offer learning solutions to function needs. Facilitate relevant training programs organized by L&D team in line with employee development needs and short & long term business requirements. Talent Management & Development : Support line manager to roll out, implements and executes GAP Talent Exchange policies and tools and ensure the Talent Development communication is well delivered in all Head Office functions. Pro-actively follow up with functions on their identified talents development plan and actions. Performance Management : Follow the Performance Management guidelines and policy from GAP, and work with L&D to work out a system to re-emphasize the Performance Management knowledge of GAP Employee Relations: Liaise closely with legal function to manage employee relation cases. Timely collect feedback from functions to organize knowledge refresh sessions in terms of employee handbook or other HR related policies. Expatriates Management To create and maintain positive working relationships with non-Chinese employees in China to foster an optimal environment. Proactively respond to the government regulations related to expatriates for the sake of the Company.

  • 8+ years working experience in HR BP/HR generalist role in MNCs.
