Weddington Way, Full-StackSoftware Engineer

We are looking for well-rounded full-stack software engineerto collaborate with product and UX designers to apply cutting-edge web tech to solvereal customer pain points on our nimble team. You should always proactivelylook for ways to make Weddington Way better and love working in teams to buildthings people use. Our technology stack(Ruby on Rails, Javascript, React) is on AWS, and your strong foundation in OOand MVC design patterns will be called upon to sustain both high velocity andplatform integrity. Experience in high volume online retail will give you ahead start, and expertise in client side frameworks, responsive design,iOS/Android, or machine learning will help expand our skill set. You will help implement new features andoptimize existing ones across our technology stack. Everyonein the company operates with the customer in mind first – we start with thecustomer and work backwards in everything we do. This role will report to the Head of Productand Operations.

Capabilities andRequirements:

● Strong foundation in algorithms, data structuresand design patterns

● Solid understanding of the full web technologystack

● Expert proficiency in at least one typed and onedynamic programming language

● Experience with web infrastructure anddistributed systems

● Experience with software engineering bestpractices and a disciplined approach to testing and quality assurance

● B.S. or higher in Computer Science or equivalentwork experience

● Prior experience working for a consumer internetcompany is highly desired

● Javascript, CSS, jQuery, Full-Stack WebDevelopment, Ruby on Rails
