eCommerce, Associate Merchandising Manager

GENERAL SUMMARY: The Merchandise Planning Manager manages sales budget, financial forecasting, investment plans, and sales & inventory plans for one or more dominant divisions from investment through exit at the product/category/item level for Old Navy China eCommerce. He/She is responsible for ensuring that the development and management of assortment, demand and inventory plans achieve overall eCommerce financial goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: OPERATIONS/FINANCIAL : Work with finance team to set sales budget, and determine online OTB plans by season. Recap and analyze actual sales results to plan, and forecast in-season sales and inventories on a weekly / monthly / quarterly basis. Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities by department and class. Manage the reconciliation of class-to-department bottoms-up plans for multiple complex areas. Develop the product line of ecommerce exclusives to meet online customers’ need and preferences Participate in company and brand initiatives as appropriate. PEOPLE LEADERSHIP/RELATIONSHIPS: Support a collaborative, innovative, and results-oriented environment with peers and cross-functional team. Provide timely feedback and direction to direct supervisor to foster rapid skill development and performance improvement.
