The Human Resources Director, Mexico Market – Old Navy, willdevelop + lead the Talent Strategy for the Old Navy Mexico Market for Stores +Headquarters. Mexico is an emerging andimportant market for Old Navy that will continue to evolve and grow. S/He is abusiness leader & driver and will be the primary HR Business Partner forthe Vice President/General Manager, the Sr. Director of Corporate Control, andthe Head of Stores + Store Operations along with additional leaders includingField Visual, Loss Prevention, Communications, Legal, Store Operations, andHuman Resources. S/He works alongsidewith key business partners to ensure customer & talent needs are heard andmet with creativity, flexibility, and eagerness to capitalize on opportunities. This position reports to the Senior Directorof Human Resources and has the following primary accountabilities:

Talent Strategy:Leads the organizations in building and implementing talent strategies thatdifferentiates Old Navy in the talent marketplace and successfully fuels thetalent + thinking necessary to drive max business performance.

HR Team Leadership: Demonstrates and models the standards for HR leadership. Seen as the team leader amongst the broaderHR organization and models the highest integrity. They will set a high bar and lead a highperforming team and model enterprise andbrand leadership behaviors, talent management, performance and accountability.

HR, Talent Acquisition,Learning and Communications Team Effectiveness: Collaborates with cross-functional HR, Talent Attraction,Learning + Development, Employee Services & Communications team leaders toensure ongoing high performance, integration, balance and continuousimprovement on overall teams. This will be achieved through gainingalignment with peers and ensuring buy in from all functional partners.

Talent Performance:Accountable for the Old Navy Mexico Field andHeadquarters HR teams. This leader will ensure that holistic, highlyintegrated, efficient, effective talent services are provided to theseorganizations. Contributes to driving maxbusiness performance through leadership of organizational design,organizational effectiveness, change management, performance management andcoaching practices.

Talent Engagement:Contributes to and implements powerful, differentiatedemployee experience that sets OldNavy a part in the talent marketplace. Advocates and is the voice foremployees. Collaborates with businessleaders and cross-functional partners across Old Navy, to ensure that Old Navytalent management policies, practices, and processes are innovative, effective,consistently applied, and differentiated for competitive advantage. Thisposition will also build capability among leaders for achieving consistentlyhigh engagement.

Business PartnerLeadership: Contributes as a memberof the Old Navy Mexico Field + HQ and Old Navy HR Leadership Team and works asa business partner to the VP and GM of Mexico to develop and deliver long-rangebusiness strategies and plans.

  • be an experienced,business-savvy leader with demonstrated expertise in organizationaleffectiveness, team development, talent acquisition + talent management.
  • have experience working with teams remotely and in a multi-unit field based type of organization.
  • have experience simultaneouslyleading talent initiatives and teams in field & headquarters environments.
  • have 8-10 years ofbusiness & human resources experiences, with significant time supporting amulti-unit or other field-based type of operation with a large workforce.
  • have a proven trackrecord as a leader and for building & developing high performing teams.
  • be able to travel andas business dictates (approximately 50%).
  • be experienced working with and influencing senior-level management teams.
  • have flexibility and adaptability; ability to successfully work under pressure and handle highly sensitive issues.
  • be bilingual in English and Spanish
