OVERVIEW

The Store Planning Analyst provides support in the creation, management and execution of store planning strategies to deliver or exceed financial goals for multiple Old Navy markets and channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide relevant data and reporting focused on the product and location intersection that maximize return on investment
  • Create and maintain accuracy of store level databases and systems to support store sales and inventory plans
  • Ability to gather, manipulate and interpret large amounts of data
  • Detail oriented in execution
  • Identify issues and recognize opportunities to improve Store Planning business analysis, processes, and tools
  • Ability to work independently and with teams interchangeably to deliver results
  • Own professional development in collaboration with manager
  • Support/participate in a collaborative, innovative and results-orientated environment

KEY EXPERIENCES
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years work experience, preferred
  • Financial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results; proficiency in retail math
  • Problem Solving & Decision Quality: Able to use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions
  • Influencing & Negotiation: Can present ideas and directions that lead others to action
  • Systems and Tools Acumen: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and preferably Access with an aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
  • Collaboration: Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrate strong listening, written and oral communication skills
