Truck Driver Part time - CDL Day and Night Shift
$200 Sign-On BONUS for PT Drivers
Gannett Publishing Services located at The Tennessean in Nashville has immediate openings for a part time truck drivers on the day and night shifts. This job pays $14 hourly. Weekends are included. Shifts may vary.
SIGN ON BONUS: Collect $50 bonus upon hire, another $50 after 45 days and the final $100 upon completion of your first 90 days.
Responsible for delivery of papers, supplies or any other product to a designated drop in an accurate and timely manner. This function applies to hand, cart or skid loading and unloading. Verify daily and weekend products to assure accurate bundle counts prior to delivery.
- Day shift : varies based on business needs. May also include weekends.
- Night shift: approx. 10 pm to 3 am shift approx. 20 hrs per week; includes weekends
Manage the press lines for products going to distribution centers.Verify truck loads for headlines and inserts (TN, USAT, DNJ, Leaf Chronicle, Jackson, etc) against the truck manifest. Delivery of daily papers and products to distribution areas. Perform pre-post trick inspections of vehicles. Sort mail for drivers to take to distribution centers.
Must have Commercial Drivers License Class B. Must have valid Department of Transportation medical card and good driving record.
Successful applicants must complete and pass a drug test and background check.
