Senior Regional Financial Analysis Manager:

The Senior Regional Financial Analysis Manager is responsible for providing relevant, accurate and timely financial analysis in support of our business units. The Sr. Regional Financial Analysis Manager oversees a staff that services the Vice President of Financial Shared Services, Regional Finance Directors and business units that includes, but is not limited to, weekly, quarterly and annual forecasting/budgeting, capital planning, ad hoc analysis, revenue trending, fulfillment of group/divisional requests and advertising billing. The Sr. RFAM is responsible for operational effectiveness, customer service orientation and financial results both for the hub and the business unit. The Sr. RFAM is a critical partner with the hub Vice President and Regional Finance Directors. The Sr. RFAM will create and foster a challenging and stimulating environment that serves to retain and develop employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops relationship and provides direct support to the VP, Regional Finance Directors and supervisory team.
  • Coordinates all analytical needs of the hub and sites utilizing hub staff. Anticipates and resolves complex issues/needs for business units.
  • Performs complex financial planning and analysis, including forecasting and annual budgeting, capital planning and ad hoc P&Ls.
  • Development and implementation of standardized analytical. Tools/reports used are in sync with other field hubs.
  • Fulfills group/divisional requests for the Regional Finance Director.
  • Management of analytical team and advertising billing teams.
  • Ensures processes, staffing levels are in sync with other field hubs.
  • Standardizes, streamlines and offers solutions to manual and/or inefficient processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Business degree (BS or MBA) with 8+ years of financial analysis management experience
  • Demonstrated customer service
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in a consolidated financial environment
  • Big picture perspective and ability to manage vision but also the ability to perform the detailed assignments as needed.
  • Knowledge of BPC, EDMS, Excel
  • Publishing media experience preferred
  • Travel required
