TITLE: Marketing Operations Specialist
LOCATION: Remote, U.S.

The ad sales team (B2B marketing services) determine the right combination of solutions from print and digital advertising, to events marketing, and branded content offerings to meet the goals of their business clients.
DESCRIPTION:
Gannett's B2B Marketing team is looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist to join our growing team. Reporting into the Director of Marketing, this team member will support our ambitious vision of driving growth and retention of our B2B & B2C business.
In this role, you'll be focused on coordinating, supporting, and executing email marketing campaigns using Marketo (Marketing Automation System) to help ensure that Gannett's Media and Online Ad Sales team meet their goals.
You will play a key role in ensuring that Marketing Operation standards are met, including proper naming conventions, marketing attribution stamping, and program Q&A prior to email deployment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with email marketing team members to manage the production, QA, execution, analysis, and overall management of program operational tactics within Marketo.
- Work closely with Salesforce Operations team to ensure proper reporting on email marketing efforts and attributed revenue, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Guide development and maintenance of Marketo database, including audience segmentations, lead qualification, and nurture programs.
- Provide support to ongoing reporting of performance metrics to Marketing team members, including senior leadership.
- Work closely with other Marketing Operation team members to develop and maintain processes to execute campaigns.
- Assist with other Marketing and Sales-related initiatives as needed.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- Two or more years of marketing automation administration experience mandatory (Marketo required).
- One or more years of administering Salesforce required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to disseminate complex information in an understandable format.
- Strong analytical skills including how to track, report, and analyze results against established objectives.
- Strong project management/organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing requirements and shifting priorities.
- Detail-oriented. Can multi-task and juggle many simultaneous priorities.
- Excellent listening skills.
- Hard-working, determined self-starter.
- An enthusiastic, take-charge attitude, coupled with a desire to collaborate and learn.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $38,700 and $93,150. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
