Digital Account Executive- Wilmington
Delawareonline.com, part of the USA TODAY Network, is looking for a Digital Account Executive to join our team. The Digital Account Executive sells digital advertising solutions to the medium-sized account sector that makes decisions locally. Primary responsibility is to grow digital market share within a designated territory or account list through the combination of acquiring new business, increasing share within existing client base, and working with the Multi-Media Account Executives. This is an outside sales position.
Position increases digital market share by gaining new business and growing existing client base through aggressive face-to-face sales calls, up-sells, appointment setting and cold calls with customers and/or potential customers.
Executes the 5-Step Sales process which includes: 1. Plan & Prepare 2. Evaluate Needs 3. Build the Solution 4. Present and Close 5. Follow Through
Understands market competitors and executes strategies for selling against the competition.
Partners with Account Managers on day-to-day activities within account base.
Works with all internal departments and vertical specialists.
Works with Sales Executives to identify and communicate digital sales opportunities as it relates to new business and existing accounts.
