Customer Service/Receptionist

The Daily News Journal is looking for a Part-Time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant that works Monday – Friday 9:00am – 3:00pm. This is 25 hours per week. Successful candidates will: Greet and assist walk in customers to the Daily News Journal, answer multi-line phone, write receipts, post payments, maintain circulation information and assist Advertising & News departments with general administrative duties as needed.


  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • General office knowledge required
  • Effective and creative problem solving/decision making skills
  • Proficiency with MS office products is required
  • Ability to learn and be proficient in other computer systems is also required
