Advertising Admin - Salesforce.com Administrator

The USA TODAY Network is seeking a Regional Salesforce.com Administrator for the Atlantic Region. The position of Regional Salesforce.com Administrator will function as the main

point person for local or regional advertising staff and support the CRM needs

defined by executive management. This position will serve as the first level of

support for CRM end-users at the specified local/regional level to include CRM

usability, data integrity and reporting. This role will function as one of

several delegated administrators within the SFDC instance and only manage

specified areas of local/regional access.

Job

Purpose:

  • Maintain

the integrity and accuracy of the local market organizational setup in

Salesforce.com.

  • Complete

any local/regional repeatable support requests related to integrity and

accuracy data or controllable setup.

  • Serve

as the subject matter expert for all local CRM related issues

  • Escalate

any local/regional CRM issues to the corporate CRM Team, and act as a liaison

between the end-user and corporate team when reporting or resolving issues for

the end-user.

  • Interact

with local sales staff, USCP CRM Team, Local/Regional IT, Local/Regional

Finance, Marketing and other Delegated Administrators.

  • Provide

local leadership with actionable sales analytics

Essential

Job Functions:

  • Create

and maintain users, reset passwords and troubleshoot login issues

  • Update

and maintain proprietary sales team setup

  • Create

and verify Quotas and Quota Fulfillment values

  • Transfer

Prospects, Leads, Opportunities upon request

  • Review

and assist with any sales revenue discrepancies as displayed on the dashboards,

reports or sales credits

  • Update

product split assignments

  • Create

and maintain custom reports

  • Assist

users with Quarterly Plan/Activity Plan or any new custom process tool

  • Maintain

and update role hierarchy organization

  • Create

and maintain campaigns upon request

  • Assist

Marketing with the maintenance of library documents, tagging, list management,

archival and lead management

Communication,

Training and General Duties:

  • Alert

staff of any system issues communicated out from the CRM team to local/regional

advertising staff

  • Create,

monitor and actively update or escalate cases to corporate

  • Understand

the World Class Sales process and how to move an opportunity through the

pipeline via the opportunity and product object

  • Ability

to react to change productively

  • Partner

with training team to facilitate SFDC training and refreshers for local markets

Required

Skills/Education/Expertise

Must

have:

  • Excellent

computer application skills with the ability to quickly learn and apply new

applications.

  • Keen

analytical and troubleshooting acumen

  • Working

knowledge of SFDC including formal/informal training or certification

Background:

Gannett finance experience, knowledge/experience in our back end systems,

Salesforce.com experience a major plus.
