What You Will Do:

Gallup cares that every associate has a great manager and projects that changes the world a little to a lot every day.

At Gallup, we deliver the latest analytics and advice about everything that matters, and that changes how the world operates. As an operations manager for our editing department, you will help ensure that our communication is the best it can be. Your team will work on marketing materials; business proposals; learning materials that include curricula, courses, e-learning, tools and workbooks; client case studies; executive presentations; email and client communications; and books published by Gallup Press. By connecting with global citizens through groundbreaking business reports, analytics and Gallup.com news stories, you have the power to change the world through the work you manage.

You will be responsible for managing a team of editors and copy writers who work with Gallup’s specialized practice areas, including employee engagement, strengths and leadership development. You will partner with stakeholders and internal project teams to resource team members and set timelines, manage performance and pay plans for your team, and help team members grow and develop in their roles.

Creating an environment of engagement and high performance, you will ensure that your team can deliver the highest quality content. Through words and stories, you and your team give voice to people around the world.

What You Need:

  • Three years of corporate experience in an editing, writing or copy writing capacity, preferably in the communications or advertisement industry
  • People management, project management or leadership experience is desired
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in communications or journalism
  • Authorization to work in the United States
