The Role

As part of the firm's Advisor Group, you will engage partners to evangelize our Digital Advisement Platform with their Financial Advisors. We work with internal and external teams to collaborate on our platform, on product enhancements and priority, on the overall go-to-market efforts, advisor engagement, and adoption strategies for our partners. This will include an emphasis on creating thoughtful training plans, training materials and videos, sales pitch decks, and outbound call campaigns that will support our partners and their advisors. It will mean traveling directly to our growing client base to engage with and train our partners on how to incorporate our digital solution into their practice, how to use the platform, and best practices for how to sell our digital products to their customers.

The Advisor Group is passionate about engaging with the financial advisors of our partners and with BlackRock teams to deliver the best possible product training and sales training experience. Coupled with outstanding training and support, our team goal is to help our partner's financial advisors and our internal and external sales groups bring our digital investment services to the mass affluent.

Responsibilities:


  • Create and document intelligent, compelling, and scalable ways to train partner financial advisors on our digital platforms, platform sales, and platform marketing.

  • Design, create, maintain, and update training materials and programs across all partner platforms

  • Outline, create, and narrate client and advisor facing product training videos.

  • Provide advisory support on our algorithm and platform functions to our partner financial advisors

  • Identify financial advisor training gaps and work with training counterparts to enhance the training

  • Design and help implement outbound call campaigns

  • Provide on-site support to our partner advisors and sales teams

  • Track and report on Advisor training metrics

  • Engage our existing investment clients to provide portfolio and investment advice as needed.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Economics, Finance or Business Management

  • Series 65 and/or CFA/CFP required and a clean U4 record

  • 3+ years job-related experience with a proven track record providing investment advice and client relationship management

  • 1 year of operations experience at an RIA

  • 1 year of training, and/or program management in the financial services industry

  • Proficiency in data analytics (Excel) and presentations/pitches (PowerPoint)

  • Excellent operational, organizational, and follow-up skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Current market knowledge and the ability and experience to provide top quality financial investment advice to clients immediately


Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or equivalent experience

  • 2 years experience designing training and sales materials

  • 2 years experience working with/on digital platforms

  • 2 years experience developing and delivering on-site group product or sales training externally

  • Experience working at the tactical and strategic level.
