Fraud Analyst

Job Description

The fraud analyst goal is fraud prevention. The analyst is responsible for the investigation of both single accounts and patterns in multiple accounts. The results of the analysis are incorporated into our automatic fraud detection mechanisms. This position is part of the Risk team and reports to the Fraud Prevention Manager.


Primary responsibilities:

  • Accounts review and investigation
  • Fraud / legit user pattern research
  • Create the tools needed to optimize accounts review and pattern analysis

  • Investigator instincts

  • Data retrieval and / or scripting skills
  • Ability to learn and research independently
  • Ability to communicate results of both quantitative and qualitative research
  • Availability to perform some of the tasks at US business hours
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

  • High attention to detail, organization
  • Flexibility to adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments while working independently



  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with the fraud domain
