As a Retention Specialist, you will be the person we rely on to help salvage opportunities to continue to protect our customers. You will provide home security, home awareness, and home control options that revolutionize the way our customers interact with their homes by retaining customers using a consultative, solutions-based approach. On our team, you will receive training, support, and camaraderie in a fun and mentally stimulating environment. On top of everything, we want Retention Specialists who are honest and have the integrity to do what’s right for our customers and for the business. On top of your day-to-day duties, you will be responsible for a few key things:

  • Making a connection to explain features and benefits
  • Building/rebuilding value to minimize giveaways
  • Understanding and acknowledging issues or challenges and demonstrating ways to overcome them
  • Improving the customer experience and resolving current issue(s) to retain business

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with proven ability to communicate effectively over the phone
  • Excellent organizational skills, with extreme attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability
  • Energy and passion for delivering results in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and listening skills, with a natural, effective conversation style

  • Ability to connect with individuals and understand their personal motivations
  • Customer retention or service experience strongly preferred
