Job DescriptionIn this role you will be responsible for developing our partner acquisition strategy, expanding our partnerships across digital agencies and reaching more customers in the B2C customer segment through our Partner program. You will be responsible for identifying and onboarding prospective partners, building a deep, long term and strategic relationship with these partners to drive revenue targets and meet mutually beneficial goals. You will help partners by articulating Freshworks’ value proposition, differentiation from other solutions and educate the partners on how to grow their business with our solutions and add value to their customers.
You will work closely with partners and across Freshworks’ Product management, marketing and customer facing teams to foster executive alignment with partners, develop co-sell motion between Freshworks and the partners’ sales organization.
- Research, identify and educate potential partners & solution providers that align with our company's strategic objectives
- Create programs to onboard and train new partners onto our partnerships program
- Create and execute joint business plans and QBRs with partners to meet revenue targets
- Build and manage a pipeline of partner leads and collaborate with our sales org
- Work with marketing teams to identify opportunities for campaigns, co-marketing, case studies and events to accelerate partner pipeline
- Work with partners to understand their business needs and help them build long term business plans to achieve mutual goals and partner loyalty
- Assist partners on issues with conversions, objection handling, providing necessary resources to achieve closure
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify potential partnership opportunities
- 8+ years of experience working in enterprise sales organization
- Proven experience in building partner ecosystems, right partnerships, strategic partner management, or channel sales within the SaaS industry
- Experience building partner programs and partner ecosystems
- Experience working with digital, branding and marketing agencies (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability at establishing and growing mutually beneficial business relationships
- Ability to independently own and manage a strategic program by defining and executing on key deliverables and outcomes
- Ability to build relationships and influence others
- Demonstrable problem-solving and analytical skills using data to drive decisions
- Strong customer-facing and relationship building skills
- Can work well as part of a team and as an individual contributor
- Strong presentation skills as well as the ability to build and present high quality product demonstrations to executive audiences
