Social Media Content Coordinator
The ideal candidate will be an extremely organized, detail-obsessed self-starter with passion for everything digital. Do you want to or can you already juggle multiple projects and stay calm and collected under pressure? This must be part of your DNA. We are looking for a driven, quick thinker on our communications team. You must be prepared to learn on your feet and quickly adapt to the fast-paced and results-driven environment of digital media.
You will have direct access to the CEO, and may be asked to attend events in the NYC media playground where you can learn how to be an executive and interact with clients.
We are looking for someone who is extremely personable and articulate, but also can direct traffic in the office. You will be responsible for assigning tasks to other interns and ensuring that the weekly objectives are completed and documented. A keen interest on learning the ins and outs of the mobile and digital marketing/advertising industry is imperative.
The Social Media Content Writer will contribute to FDG's social media campaigns for clients, from copywriting to strategy. Responsibilities will include the following:
Develop social media and content strategies for FDG's clients and future pitch
Create and curate content for social media postings, including copywriting
Draft FDG's deck slides, SlideShare, corporate framework, talking points and key messages
Assist in managing FDG’s social media platforms to protect and enhance the company’s reputation
Work closely with business segment leaders to identify specific employee communication opportunities to help drive increased employee engagement, assessing the value and fit and developing the necessary communications
Contribute to the content creation processes and tasks, including concept creation, writing, proofreading, editing, routing and publishing to different internal and external communication vehicles
New business development, including pitch presentations, RFP responses, lead generation and networking
Excellent written and verbal skills (native English speaker or close-to-native proficiency)
Creative and energetic personality
Strong knowledge in running social media campaigns on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat etc.
Passion and enthusiasm for everything social, from copywriting to creative visuals to overall strategy to simply engaging with people on social platforms
Excitement about being on the cutting edge of social strategy and testing new things
Thorough understanding of the importance of data and ability to analyze trends and respond with solutions

This is an unpaid summer to winter internship with opportunity for hire, where you will learn hands on and will be able to receive college credit. Must be able to dedicate full-time schedule (Monday-Friday 10am-7pm) in the summer and at least 20 hours in the Fall.
