Creative Graphic Design Manager Intern

Overview:

Fresh Digital Group is seeking a Creative Graphic Design Manager intern to be a part of making FRSH happen. FRSH is a young, award-winning agency that understands the importance of putting mobile first, and so should you. FRSH is searching for talented designers to expand our creative existence and help us grow. Our team guides brands, agencies and start-ups through the concept and development of user-friendly products and strategies that highlight the uniqueness of each brand’s proposition. Basically we make awesome mobile products. You are also expected to play an active, hands on role in key projects, turning innovative thinking into inspired creative. You’ll be supported as you grow, and surrounded by smart people who like working and socializing together.

As our creative graphic design manager intern, you will oversee the creative team and serve as the liaison between the developing team and the creative team. In order to be successful, it is extremely important that you are personable, articulate, and able to direct traffic inside and out of the office. In addition to overseeing the other interns by assigning tasks and ensuring that weekly objective are completed, you will have opportunities to attend business events. Efficient and effective communication is key! Know what this means at a deeper level.

Responsibilities:
Assist Creative Directors in management of agency Creative Group (Art Directors, Copywriters, Interactive). Keep track of schedules and workloads for each.
Work with Senior Management to determine which creatives are available and best suited to be assigned to upcoming projects.
Assist Creative Directors in assigning and briefing creatives on projects. Follow up when necessary to make sure work is on schedule and on track for presentation.
Act as a concierge to Creative Group. Assist all in finding resources to get projects done.
Set up systems to facilitate new creatives and freelancers to agency procedures (how to things done in the agency.)
Designing mobile/tablet advertisement mocks for pre-sales

Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, & InDesign)
Experience in mobile UI/UX design is a plus
You must be detail orientated and have a general sense of color, typography, and composition.
Passion and interest in digital and mobile media
Proven talent for creating fresh, unique and professional designs
Passionate about user experience and web/mobile usability
Offers new ideas and communicates effectively

Additional Information:

This is an unpaid internship with opportunity for hire or bonus payments when your work gets sold to clients and a flexible schedule of 3-5 days/week. Growth potential at FDG is huge, and there is a high probability of a full-time position upon completion of internship.
