Technical Support Specialist

Serve as primary point of contact for all IT requests, provides answers and solutions to enable continued use of IT systems, collaborate with support team in ticket escalation and resolution.

Responsibilities
• Respond to support requests via phone, email, and in person
• Manage IT support ticket queue
• Cloud services support and administration
• Security incident escalation and response
• Remote support for offices in North and South America
• Onsite and remote support for TV production teams
• VPN access management
• Data and systems backup management
• Quarterly DR testing
• Understanding of DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SSL and TCP/IP protocols and applications
• Equipment order processing
• Desktop application installation (Mac/PC)
• Desktop hardware installation (Mac/PC)
• Desktop software and hardware troubleshooting
• Desktop application updates/maintenance
• Network troubleshooting and resolution
• Printer and driver installation (Mac/PC)
• User account password reset/changes
• Problem resolution documentation
• Systems and process documentation
• IT governance and policy enforcement
• IT security enforcement
• Conference room A/V assistance
• Office cable management
• Mobile device services and equipment support
• End user training and awareness
• Media transcoding
• Other duties as assigned
