PFQA Quality Analyst 1

SUMMARY


To analyze selected loans to ensure they comply with all investor and Freedom Mortgage Corp requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform complete audit of loans per appropriate checklist and report any discrepancies noted. Review loans and check for data integrity and proper application of Investor and Freedom guidelines.
  • Perform vendor reviews as assigned to validate the audit was completed correctly by the Offshore Vendor. Review for data integrity and investor/FMC guidelines according to the PFQA checklists.
  • Input audit findings into data base (currently BPM & Lakewood) and upload Audit Sheet and Checklist to EDMS and EFolder (Encompass).
  • Elevate checklist and send correspondence by email to Team Leads notifying them of defects.
  • Responsible for meeting minimum quota of files reviewed.
  • Assist with identifying which loans from reports needed for pre-funding review as directed by the Manager and setting the Pre-Funding QA tracking item on those loans.
  • Assist with Broker/LO spreadsheet maintenance as directed by the Manager if needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years related Processing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 1-3 years experience in mortgage banking to include processing skills. Computer knowledge - preferably Word, Excel, Lakewood programs.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
