This role will participate in several business unit rotations and ensure alignment of business and HR strategies, service and delivery.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provides human resources consultation and support to assigned designated business unit(s) at the direction of the Lead HR Business Partner and their team.
- Collaborate internally and externally to solve human resources problems and direct solutions.
- Uses knowledge of various human resources functions, including staffing, compensation, benefits, training and employee relations to provide tactical and transactional HR support to line managers.
- Acts as a liaison to other human resources functions when necessary.
- Performs research/analysis/reporting and other special projects.
- Create ad-hoc reporting as needed.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- HR Policies, Standards and Procedures
- Knowledge of and ability to use the organization's and industry's standards, procedures and policies relevant to human resources management.
- HR Legal and Regulatory Environment; Knowledge of federal, state and local laws and ability to advise on laws and regulations affecting HR practices.
- Conduct exit interviews as directed and report findings to Lead HRBP.
- Handle and/or facilitate unemployment claim responses as needed.

Education and/or Experience:
Bachelors Degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in Human Resources Management, communication skills, and project management skills. Strong business acumen, time mamangement and priorities management skills. Knowledge on current labor laws and analytical/problem solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to carry out detailed written and/or verbal instructions. Ability to solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
